No need to dig a trench or get wiring permits. This unit provides master/slave gate operation wirelessly. What makes the Viking Konnect unit so great is that it is plug-and-play. There are no significant adjustments. This device uses Bluetooth for its wireless communication. The units can be up to 100 feet apart. You can also connect to your Viking Konnect with your cell phone. Just download the app, and you can set up and do diagnostics on your gate opener right over the phone.
